“ This place is truly amazing. I love tacos, I try them all. I've been to every place, every truck in the San marcos area! They have some of the best AL pastor, and the salsa is to die for. The red salsa is really spicy and unique. The green is what you want a green salsa to be! Haven't tried the compechana yet but will try next time around. The 1 star review below me was made by a "subpar" individual. Give it a shot your self. And the prices too high??? What? I got 8 of the lunch tacos for 15 dollars... tacos can be cheaper but their not exactly breaking the bank here. ”
“ Very juicy meat, I got full from only two! Will be back ”
“ Great tacos, great salsa! The green salsa is FANTASTIC. I've only had the breakfast tacos, but I am very excited to try their other options. It's a cash only place, so be sure to bring the dolla bills. ”
“ Tacos were amazing and honestly exceeded my expectations. The horchata was good but I think the ice made it taste a bit off so I chucked the ice and yes the horchata was also very delicious minus the ice . Id recommend for some nice tacos although it is kinda pricey $4/a taco. On 8 tacos and one horchata my partner and I spent $36, but was well spent as the tacos seemed nicely filled w meat. Will definitely be back to try more menu options. (1,000% better than Chuy’s “Mexican restaurant” come here not there for good AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food) ”
“ Food is great and the customer service is awesome. Well cooked food and great sides with the main dishes. Plenty of options to choose from ”
“ Food truck/ hole in the wall, must stop! The most expensive menu option was $10.50!! We tried few different bites, and they were all worth the stop. Full of flavor and served with all of the extras- grilled and raw onions, lime, cilantro, red & green salsas, & grilled chili peppers TIP: El Patroncito is a CASH ONLY business, but there is an ATM machine inside the convenience store that shares the parking lot #EATHERE ”
